Welcome Statement

Hi Everyone,

First of all, I would like to welcome you all as we journey to the new, better, and healthier you.  My name is Diana Davis.  I am currently residing and living in Germany.  I am originally born and raised from a small island called Guam.    I have three children and a wonderful husband.  I love spending time with my family and doing anything and everything with them.  I love traveling as a family and enjoy learning and teaching them all the wonderful things that life has to offer together.  I like to be a positive role model towards my children as well as my peers by incorporating a physically active lifestyle along with incorporating healthy eating habits and behavior. Yet we cannot solely focus on improving the physical aspects of our lives, we must also focus on improving and managing the daily stressors in our minds and souls in order to achieve complete total wellness.   I strongly believe by doing so, one can benefit the joys of a long and prosperous life.

  1. Hello Diana,

I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed reading your blog. Congratulations on all your accomplishments with your family and experiences. I love that you are so close with your family and that you are such a huge part of their lives when it comes to total wellness. I also agree with you that we must reduce the stressors in order to have a better life. What are some of the things that you do to reduce your stressors? Also, it seems that you believe in travel, what is one of the most interesting things that you have seen since being in Germany?

I am looking forward to the rest of your blogs and looking forward to your aspects on the different topics that we discuss.

  2. Hi Charles,

Thank you for visiting my blog and all the kind comments stated. To answer your question in regards to some of the things I do to reduce my daily stressors are through physical exercises and activities. Depending on the weather conditions here in Germany, I usually like to go out jogging outdoors with my baby girl in her jogging stroller. Germany provides its community with many walking, hiking, and biking paths for their people so encouraging them to be more outdoors rather than indoors. So that is one of the greatest things I love doing. Other than that, I love to do my morning workouts with my family by either playing basketball, or sports. And one of the best part I love doing is traveling with my family and walking anywhere and everywhere with them. I love waling to places and getting lost since it encourages us to walk more. As for what areas in Germany I find interesting, I find it difficult to pinpoint just one area since there are many areas in Germany that are interesting. And most of the places to see are mostly castles that was once runned by the kings. Some of them are being renovated because of the destruction done by Hitler and one castle that was never been destroyed or touched because of its location in the Berg Eltz where you have to hike down and up a very physically strenuous hill. But we have been traveling all over Europe and taking advantage of the areas we can see while we are still here.

Thank you once again for visiting my post and if I am able to download all the places I have visited, I would love to share with you and the class.

  3. Hi Diana,

You have a beautiful family! Congratulations on deciding to be a positive role model to your kids as that is key for planting healthy seeds for future healthy reaping. Wow...I had two classmates from Guam when I was in high school, and they were pretty amazing at sports and academics. My family also hosted a German student in 2007...it was not what I she expected as she was homesick and missed getting around via public transportation, walking to school, riding bikes in town...so much different from what we have to contend with in Texas....we drive everywhere as there is no public transportation other than downtown Austin and the nearby cities.

I wish you much success and happiness in all you your dreams and aspirations!

    Best of health,

    Allana
